New England Patriots News & Updates

Formerly fierce competitors in the AFC East, the Jets and Patriots are now facing difficulties.

The Jets are experiencing a skid with four consecutive defeats, while the Patriots have dropped six straight games. Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers acknowledged the team's lackluster energy following their recent loss to Pittsburgh, and receiver Davante Adams shared his worries in the locker room.

After a disappointing 4-13 season, the Patriots dismissed Bill Belichick, but his successor Jerod Mayo has yet to bring about improvement. Following a defeat against Jacksonville, Mayo openly criticized the team's lack of toughness.

Rodgers maintains that it is possible to swiftly transform a team's culture, though he admits overcoming previous setbacks presents significant challenges.

Mayo has adopted a similar dismissive approach in interviews to that of Belichick, reminiscent of the notoriously curt "We're on to Cincinnati" statement.

The Jets have brought in edge rusher Haason Reddick, who may make his first appearance this Sunday. His presence is anticipated to elevate the Jets' defense, especially with Jermaine Johnson sidelined due to injury.
