Tennessee Titans News & Updates

Aaron Rodgers guided the New York Jets to a 24-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. In a pivotal moment, the NFL's youngest player, Braelon Allen, scored a 20-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Rodgers threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns, including one to the 20-year-old Allen, marking a historic game where the oldest and youngest players scored. The Titans’ quarterback, Will Levis, entering his second year, had two back-to-back turnovers that resulted in scores for the Jets.

The Jets made the most of the Titans' errors, accumulating 17 points through interceptions, penalties, and a blocked punt. Brandin Echols and Quinnen Williams each managed an interception, and Jeffery Simmons’ roughing the passer penalty prolonged a Jets' drive.

In the first quarter, the Titans took the lead 7-0 with a rushing touchdown by Calvin Ridley, but the Jets equalized in the second quarter with Allen's touchdown. A field goal by Nick Folk gave the Titans a 10-7 lead at halftime. However, Greg Zuerlein's field goal pushed the Jets ahead 17-10 in the third quarter.

Levis leveled the score with a 21-yard run followed by a 40-yard touchdown pass to Ridley. Nonetheless, Allen's late fourth-quarter touchdown secured the Jets' win. Will McDonald IV's third-down sack halted the Titans' final drive.

Next Sunday, the Titans will face the Green Bay Packers at home, while the Jets take on the New England Patriots on Thursday night.
