New York Jets News & Updates

In their Thursday night game against the New England Patriots, the New York Jets were without their middle linebacker, C.J. Mosley. He sustained a bone bruise in the previous week's game and was marked as questionable for this matchup.

Taking Mosley's place, Jamien Sherwood stepped in as the defense's signal-caller. Sherwood had gained experience since his last start against the Patriots in 2021, a game that ended in a heavy loss for the Jets.

Mosley, known for his leadership and being a five-time Pro Bowl selection, is the emotional core of the Jets' defense. Prior to his injury, he managed to record 12 tackles over the first two games of the season.
