Despite dealing with a heel injury since training camp, Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen is likely to play against the Los Angeles Rams. The injury has been an issue for Allen since midway through the training camp, causing him to miss the Bears' games against the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.
For the first time since Week 1, Allen practiced fully on Friday. He appears as questionable on the Bears' final injury report. Defensive tackle Andrew Billings, who has a knee injury, and safety Kevin Byard III are also listed as questionable.
The Bears had kept Allen out of football activities during the second and third weeks of the season. On Wednesday and Thursday, he participated in practice on a limited basis, eventually becoming a full participant on Friday.
Allen believes that this injury will not affect his performance for the remainder of the season. Bears coach Matt Eberflus also expects Allen to be ready for the game against the Rams.
Additionally, rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze and right tackle Darnell Wright are set to play in the upcoming game against the Rams.
