Las Vegas Raiders News & Updates

Christian Wilkins, the defensive tackle for the Las Vegas Raiders, has undergone surgery due to a Jones fracture in his left foot, leading to an indefinite recovery period. Wilkins, who secured a contract worth 110 million dollars over four years in March, started feeling discomfort in his foot during the team's loss in Denver on Sunday, yet continued to play despite the pain.

Eventually, he exited the game with two minutes left in the second quarter after being sacked, participated in just one more play, and was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the match after halftime.

This season, Wilkins has recorded 17 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 stuffs, and 6 hits on quarterbacks over five games. Throughout his career, he has accumulated 22.5 sacks, achieving a personal best of nine sacks last year with the Miami Dolphins.

The Raiders are scheduled to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
