Las Vegas Raiders News & Updates

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Malcolm Koonce will be out for the entire season following a knee injury sustained during practice. The 26-year-old player was added to injured reserve on September 8th.

In 2023, Koonce achieved a personal best with eight sacks and three forced fumbles, and he was heading into a contract year. Charles Snowden has taken over his spot, starting in the first two games of the season.

After Tyree Wilson injured his knee in the season opener, the Raiders brought K'Lavon Chaisson onto the practice squad. Chaisson was then promoted to the 53-man roster for the matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Wilson is expected to make his return during the Raiders' home opener against the Carolina Panthers.

Maxx Crosby, who has accounted for all three of the Raiders' sacks so far and is the current AFC Defensive Player of the Week, is questionable for the Panthers game due to a left ankle injury.
