The Boston Celtics showcased their superiority over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday with a decisive 112-94 win. Boston's formidable defense limited Indiana to shooting 42.3% and forced 16 turnovers.
Jayson Tatum was the top scorer for the Celtics with 26 points, closely followed by Jaylen Brown with 23 points. Marcus Smart added 15 points and handed out 8 assists. For the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis led the effort with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Despite a promising start from the Pacers who secured an early lead, the Celticsā defense soon intensified, allowing Boston to overtake them in the second quarter. The Celtics extended their lead in the third quarter, establishing a commanding double-digit advantage that they maintained for the remainder of the game.
This win was Boston's fifth in a row, bringing their season record to 27-12. Meanwhile, the Pacers have now lost four of their last five games, with a current season record of 17-22.
