In a dramatic Western Conference playoff clash, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 113-110. Even though LeBron James led with 34 points, the Lakers couldn't overcome the Suns' decisive scoring in the final minutes.

By halftime, the Suns were ahead by seven points, but the Lakers made a strong comeback in the third quarter, outpacing Phoenix 33-21. The Lakers' Anthony Davis contributed 22 points and secured 15 rebounds, while Russell Westbrook added 23 points coming off the bench.

The fourth quarter was intensely competitive, with neither team gaining a clear upper hand. James managed to even the score at 110 with a 3-pointer slightly more than a minute before the end. Nevertheless, Deandre Ayton quickly countered with a layup, pushing the Suns to a two-point lead.

The Lakers had another opportunity to level the score, but as time ran out, James's attempt for a game-tying 3-pointer did not succeed, sealing the win for the Suns and giving them a 2-1 lead in the series.
