Mahomes, Kelce, Hunt Propel Chiefs to Win While Royals Defeat Yankees

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs threw for a significant number of yards, Travis Kelce made several receptions, and Kareem Hunt secured a touchdown, helping the Chiefs secure a win against the Saints with a score of 26-13.

Mahomes accumulated 331 passing yards, while Kelce made nine receptions totaling 70 yards. Hunt had 27 carries that resulted in 102 yards and a touchdown, marking his first since rejoining the team.

Though the Chiefs initially faced challenges in the red zone and had to settle for field goals, they eventually succeeded in responding to the Saints with a touchdown by Xavier Worthy during the fourth quarter.

In contrast, Saints quarterback Derek Carr sustained an injury and exited the game with approximately 9 and a half minutes left.
