Las Vegas Raiders News & Updates

The owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, Mark Davis, has dismissed any speculation about trading Maxx Crosby.

Davis clarified that Crosby will not be traded, affirming that this decision is definitive both before and after the trade deadline.

Despite the Raiders' stance, other teams have shown interest in acquiring Crosby. Nonetheless, it is considered highly improbable for a trade to happen before the November 5 deadline, according to sources.

Richard Seymour, a new minority stakeholder, agrees with this view, stating he finds it hard to imagine Davis trading the player regarded as the "heartbeat of our team."

Crosby himself has voiced his intention to stay with the Raiders, expressing his desire to remain "silver and black" and repeatedly declaring his loyalty to the team.

In a different transaction, the Raiders sent Davante Adams to the New York Jets.

Teams in need of pass-rush assistance might now turn their attention to Za'Darius Smith of the Cleveland Browns as a potential trade option.

Having amassed 6.5 sacks this season, Crosby has solidified his status as a key player for the Raiders, playing his entire professional career with the team and achieving a total of 58.5 sacks across more than 89 games.
