Miami Dolphins News & Updates

During the game against the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane sustained a concussion.

This injury occurred when Patriots safety Jaylinn Hawkins tackled him. Hawkins' helmet collided with Achane's, causing him to remain on the ground for several minutes.

Achane was diagnosed with a concussion and could not continue playing in the match. He is the team's leading player in total yards and serves as the starting running back.

Raheem Mostert made his return to the field after missing three games due to a chest injury and is expected to share playing time with rookie Jaylen Wright.

With Achane entering the concussion protocol, the Dolphins' bye week in Week 6 offers him a couple of weeks to recover before the next game against the Indianapolis Colts on October 20.
