New England Patriots News & Updates

Alec Ingold's 3-yard touchdown run with four minutes left, along with Jason Sanders' three field goals, made up for the Miami Dolphins' three missed kicks, leading to a 15-10 win against the New England Patriots.

Despite numerous penalties, missed kicks, and time management issues, both teams managed just one touchdown each. Miami took the lead when Ingold scored on his only carry during the game.

The Patriots had two chances to take back the lead but failed. One touchdown was reversed after a replay review, and a late attempt was stopped at the Miami 11-yard line as Jacoby Brissett's pass to Hunter Henry didn't reach the end zone.

Tyler Huntley, filling in for Tua Tagovailoa, completed 18 out of 31 passes for 194 yards. Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Wright, and Raheem Mostert reinforced Miami's offense, who were dealing with three straight losses with backup quarterbacks.

New England's running back Rhamondre Stevenson, known for fumbling, started on the bench but eventually rushed for 89 yards on 12 carries. Christian Gonzalez intercepted a pass that paved the way for Stevenson's first-quarter touchdown.

Although a touchdown pass with 63 seconds left initially gave the Patriots the lead, replays showed that Ja'Lynn Polk's second heel landed out of bounds, canceling it. The Patriots then turned over the ball due to incomplete passes and penalties.

Sanders kicked a 54-yard field goal during Miami's first drive, marking their first lead this season. However, failed field goal attempts and a blocked punt troubled the Dolphins' special teams, giving the Patriots more chances.

Both teams struggled with clock management. A mistimed snap forced the Dolphins to punt from deep in their own area, whereas the Patriots drained only 55 seconds before their next punt
