Indianapolis Colts News & Updates

The Colts' primary wide receiver, Michael Pittman Jr., is said to have a back injury that might keep him out of action for several games.

Despite playing the full game against the Jaguars on Sunday, Pittman reportedly picked up the injury during that match. He adds to a growing roster of injured Colts players, which includes starting receiver Josh Downs who is managing a toe injury.

With Pittman unavailable, Alec Pierce, now in his third year, and newcomer Adonai Mitchell are expected to see more playing time. The team is also considering placing Pittman on injured reserve.

Pittman's injury contributes to the Colts' increasing injury woes. Quarterback Anthony Richardson is on the mend from an oblique injury, Jonathan Taylor is sidelined with an ankle issue, Kwity Paye has been absent due to a quad injury, and DeForest Buckner is on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain.
