New Orleans Saints News & Updates

Rashid Shaheed, who plays wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints, may be heading to injured reserve due to a meniscus injury. The outcome of his surgery on Thursday will decide his future.

In their upcoming game on Thursday against Denver, the Saints will not have their top two wide receivers available. Chris Olave, dealing with a concussion, alongside Shaheed, will not be playing. Additionally, Taysom Hill is uncertain as he is suffering from a rib injury.

The Broncos will also be without a key player, as their leading cornerback, Pat Surtain II, is sidelined with a concussion.

Shaheed leads the team in receiving yards and touchdowns, while Chris Olave has the highest number of receptions. Despite dealing with multiple injuries, quarterback Derek Carr is listed as doubtful for the Saints.

The Saints are significantly impacted by injuries, with a total of 17 players appearing on the injury report this week. Their starting center, Erik McCoy, is on injured reserve, guard Cesar Ruiz has been out for several games, and linebacker Pete Werner is also out due to a knee injury.
