The Los Angeles Chargers emerged victorious against the Kansas City Chiefs with a 30-27 overtime win in an exciting matchup last night. The Chargers managed to close a 17-point gap and equalized the game by scoring a touchdown with just over two minutes left.
During overtime, the Chargers won the coin toss and chose to receive the ball. They advanced down the field and clinched the win with a field goal.
For the Chargers, quarterback Justin Herbert passed for 451 yards and secured three touchdowns. Running back Austin Ekeler added to the effort with 142 rushing yards and a touchdown.
On the Chiefs' side, Patrick Mahomes passed for 348 yards, adding one touchdown to his tally. Tyreek Hill made nine receptions, amounting to 139 yards and a touchdown.
This victory for the Chargers ended a losing streak of seven games against the Chiefs. It also improved their season record to 3-3, while the Chiefs' record stands at 2-4.
