In an NHL regular-season match, the Toronto Maple Leafs triumphed over the Boston Bruins with a 4-3 overtime victory. The game saw both teams continuously exchanging the lead.

The Maple Leafs began by scoring in the first period. However, the Bruins responded with two goals in the second period. Toronto managed to equalize late in the second period, and the score stayed tied at 3-3 until the end of regulation.

John Tavares clinched the win for Toronto in overtime by scoring against Boston's goalie Jeremy Swayman. This victory boosts Toronto's record to 3-1, while Boston's stands at 2-2.

Auston Matthews was a standout for Toronto, contributing a goal and two assists. Both Tavares and Mitch Marner added a goal and an assist each. For the Bruins, Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, and Taylor Hall scored goals.

Jack Campbell defended the net with 30 saves for the Maple Leafs, as Swayman made 26 saves for the Bruins.
