Jacksonville Jaguars News & Updates

The NFL has completed its investigation into Brandon McManus, a former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker, following allegations of sexual assault during a team flight to London in 2023.

After interviewing 30 individuals, the investigation found insufficient evidence to indicate a breach of the league's personal conduct policy. As a result, the NFL considers the case closed with regards to potential disciplinary action.

The attorney for the two women who made the allegations expressed confusion about the NFL's decision, noting that the league had not yet spoken with their clients.

In September 2023, Daisy Torres and Nicole Anderson filed a lawsuit, accusing McManus of sexual assault. The lawsuit also implicated the Jaguars, alleging that the team failed to ensure a safe environment and disregarded NFL rules concerning alcohol and drugs on team flights.

McManus’s attorney, Brett Gallaway, has not provided any comments at this time. The Jaguars have also refrained from making a statement.

Despite the allegations, McManus joined the Washington Commanders during the off-season but was released shortly after the lawsuit was filed. A league source mentioned that several teams are keeping an eye on the situation and that McManus could potentially be signed by a new team soon.
