NFL Update: Derek Carr Hopes to Reunite with Davante Adams on the Field

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr has shown interest in playing alongside his former teammate Davante Adams if the possibility arises.

Currently, Adams is signed with the Las Vegas Raiders but has made a trade request. Sources indicate that Adams is willing to team up with quarterbacks he has good relationships with, which include Carr and Aaron Rodgers.

The Raiders have reportedly stated that they might consider trading Adams for a deal involving a second-round draft pick and other assets.

Carr mentioned that any quarterback would be eager to have the chance to play with Adams, and he shares this feeling.

Adams teamed up with Rodgers from 2014 to 2021 after being selected by the Green Bay Packers. In 2022, he joined Carr once more following a trade to the Raiders.

Despite challenges the team faced, Carr enjoyed their single NFL season together and believes Adams had one of his standout years during that time.

Although Carr and Adams frequently stay in touch, they have not talked about the trade rumors.

Saints coach Dennis Allen has expressed contentment with the team's existing receivers, like Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.
