Odell Beckham Jr. to Debut for Dolphins Against Patriots, Strengthening Receiving Corps

Miami Dolphins News & Updates

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is set to play on Sunday after being cleared from the physically unable to perform list.

Beckham had knee surgery during the offseason and didn’t practice with the team until this week. He was marked as questionable for the game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

To accommodate Beckham on the team roster, the Dolphins released quarterback Tim Boyle, although he was re-signed to the practice squad.

Beckham's return strengthens a struggling wide receiver group this season. Only Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have managed more than 30 receiving yards in the four games played.

Beckham expressed his readiness to handle the pressure to perform as the Dolphins aim to break their three-game losing streak.

This week, left tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Kendall Fuller are also expected to be back in the lineup, but safety Jordan Poyer is set to miss the game due to a shin injury.
