The Bulldogs started with a comeback after trailing initially, ultimately winning against the Wildcats with a final score of 35-21. The Wildcats managed to have the Bulldogs punt on their first drive but failed to make anything of it. Taking advantage of the Wildcats' errors, the Bulldogs scored twice in the second quarter, putting themselves in the lead at 14-0.

The Wildcats did not give up and managed to score a touchdown before the break, bringing the score to 14-7. The second half saw both teams exchange touchdowns, creating an exciting back-and-forth battle. However, the Bulldogs' defense was particularly strong in the final quarter, forcing the Wildcats to punt on two occasions and intercepting a pass to ensure their win.

Quarterback Sam Wilson was instrumental for the Bulldogs, passing for 250 yards and making two touchdown passes. Mark Jones contributed as well, running for 120 yards and adding a touchdown to the tally. For the Wildcats, John Smith stood out by rushing for 100 yards and scoring a touchdown.

As a result of this victory, the Bulldogs now boast a 2-0 record, while the Wildcats have yet to start winning, sitting at 0-2 for the season.
