Carolina Panthers News & Updates

Austin Corbett, the center for the Carolina Panthers, is set to undergo surgery that will end his season after tearing his biceps in the recent loss on Sunday. This information was confirmed by Coach Dave Canales on Monday.

Brady Christensen, who is stepping in for Corbett, also suffered a biceps injury during the opening game of the 2023 season.

The team will see right tackle Taylor Moton's impressive 104-game starting streak come to an end this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons due to an injury. Yosh Nijman is expected to fill in for him.

Both Xavier Legette and Jadeveon Clowney, who are dealing with shoulder injuries, are hopeful to participate in the game against the Falcons.

This marks the third consecutive season that Corbett has faced an injury. He previously missed time in 2023 due to a knee issue and tore his ACL in 2022.

While Christensen steps in for Corbett, he faces a tough task as Corbett had achieved the lowest pressure rate among centers this year.

Despite the challenge, Christensen is confident in his preparation and is eager to get on the field.
