Panthers' Dalton Hurt in Car Crash, Game Status Against Broncos Unclear

On Tuesday, Andy Dalton, who plays quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, was involved in a car incident that took place in Charlotte.

At the time of the accident, Dalton and his family were traveling west along Sardis Road close to Providence Road. Though no one in the vehicle required transport to a hospital by emergency services, Dalton is undergoing evaluations by the medical staff of the team.

At present, there is no additional information available regarding the accident or whether Dalton will be able to play in Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.

Since taking over from Bryce Young as the starting quarterback, Dalton has had a record of one win and four losses, while the Panthers' overall record stands at one win and six losses.

Following the loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday, Coach Dave Canales confirmed that Dalton would be starting in the game against the Broncos.
