Panthers Prevail Over Raiders with Dalton's Stellar Debut

In a standout performance, Andy Dalton led the Panthers to triumph over the Las Vegas Raiders with 319 passing yards and three touchdowns. The Panthers elevated Dalton to the starting quarterback position following a lackluster stint from Bryce Young.

This marked the Panthers' first win under Dalton's guidance, bringing his personal record against the Raiders to 4-0. Under Dalton's direction, Carolina's offense, previously struggling, saw a resurgence.

Chuba Hubbard played a crucial role in the victory, amassing 114 rushing yards and catching a touchdown pass. On the other side, Gardner Minshew of the Raiders had a less impressive outing with 214 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

The Raiders, who had the lowest-ranked offense in the league, could only muster 55 rushing yards. Fans showed their frustration with the conservative play-calling of offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.

The Panthers seized an early lead and maintained their advantage throughout, ending several losing streaks. This game was also notable for being the first match-up between teams led by female presidents.

Both teams were affected by injuries, with the Panthers missing Adam Thielen and Shy Tuttle, while the Raiders played without Divine Deablo, Decamerion Richardson, Thayer Munford, and Marcus Epps. Looking ahead, the Panthers will face the Cincinnati Bengals next, and the Raiders will host the Cleveland Browns.
