Panthers QB Bryce Young Addresses Benching, Takes Accountability for Team's Challenges

Bryce Young, sidelined by Carolina Panthers coach Dave Canales in favor of Andy Dalton, admitted he was caught off guard by the decision.

Although Young initially accepted accountability for his benching, he refrained from discussing his future with the team. Canales made it clear that trading Young was not being considered.

Since then, Young has been leading the scout team as Gardner Minshew, receiving commendation for his efforts from defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero.

Young stressed his dedication to assisting the team in any role, but recognized the historically poor statistics during his time at the helm, taking full responsibility for his performance.
