Carolina Panthers News & Updates

Wide receiver Adam Thielen has been placed on injured reserve by the Carolina Panthers due to a hamstring injury, meaning he will miss the next four games. Additionally, safety Jordan Fuller has also been moved to injured reserve with a groin injury.

Thielen incurred the hamstring injury while making a touchdown catch in the Panthersā€™ win against the Las Vegas Raiders. He joined the team before the 2023 season and has been a pivotal player, recording 103 receptions for 1,014 yards in his debut season with Carolina.

With Thielen unavailable, Xavier Legette and Jonathan Mingo will advance on the depth chart. Jordan Fullerā€™s spot is likely to be filled by Nick Scott.

The Panthers have also released tight end Messiah Swinson and elevated wide receiver Jalen Coker along with safeties Demani Richardson and Russ Yeast from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
