New England Patriots News & Updates

In Nashville, the New England Patriots' new quarterback Drake Maye displayed his skills on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

As time expired in the fourth quarter, Maye executed a drive consisting of 11 plays over 50 yards, resulting in a touchdown that brought the game into overtime. He achieved this with a remarkable hold time of 11.82 seconds and a 5-yard pass to Rhamondre Stevenson while he was falling to the ground.

Unfortunately, Maye's attempt in overtime ended with a poorly judged interception aimed at Kayshon Boutte, which led to a 20-17 defeat for the Patriots.

Despite the loss, teammates commended Maye for his determination and spirit, while also noting his lack of experience.

Maye also impressed with his running skills, accumulating 95 rushing yards, marking the second-highest total for a Patriots quarterback since 1976.

The Patriots' head coach, Jerod Mayo, highlighted Maye's progress and resilience, expressing confidence in his potential for future development.
