The Saints added tension by scoring a touchdown followed by a successful two-point conversion, which shrank the Falcons' lead to 22-19. Nonetheless, the Falcons ensured their victory with a 41-yard field goal.
Mariota completed passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns, while London topped the receivers with 94 yards. On the Saints' side, quarterback Andy Dalton achieved 159 passing yards along with a touchdown.
