New Orleans Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo recently had surgery for a broken femur and is expected to need four to five months for recovery. He suffered the injury during a tackle in the team's defeat by the Denver Broncos.
Paulson Adebo will become a free agent in March and is the second player from the Saints to have season-ending surgery this week. Rookie cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry is anticipated to take his place in the lineup.
The Saints are currently missing several essential players, including their quarterback Derek Carr, tight end Taysom Hill, wide receiver Chris Olave, and three starting offensive linemen. Coach Dennis Allen has mentioned the possible effects that these injuries might have on the team.
Dennis Allen commented that the situation can be demoralizing and stressed the need for the team to push through such challenges, citing it as one of the difficult aspects of their profession.
