Las Vegas Raiders News & Updates

The Las Vegas Raiders are set to play the Cleveland Browns without their star receiver Davante Adams and might also miss Pro Bowl edge rusher Maxx Crosby and right tackle Thayer Munford Jr.

Initially, Crosby and Munford were ruled out but have now been listed as doubtful. Adams injured his hamstring during practice.

Other Raiders starters who will not play include linebacker Divine Deablo, who has an oblique injury, and tight end Michael Mayer, who is out for personal reasons.

Head coach Antonio Pierce is optimistic that players like Harrison Bryant, Brock Bowers, and Jakobi Meyers will step up in their absence.

Pierce noted that the team doesn't need another Davante Adams but needs the best version of the players they have.

This season, Adams has recorded 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown. Maxx Crosby might miss his first game due to an ankle injury.

With Malcolm Koonce out for the season with a knee injury, players such as Tyree Wilson, Janarius Robinson, K'Lavon Chaisson, and Charles Snowden are expected to take on larger roles on the defensive line.

Pierce advised Wilson to focus on being a team player and carrying out his duties without trying to be a hero.
