Raiders Face Steelers with Trade Rumors and Injury Worries Surrounding Davante Adams' Absence

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is likely to miss the upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers because of a hamstring injury and a request to be traded, according to sources.

Adams last played in Week 3 and has not addressed the media since the Raiders lost to the Carolina Panthers on September 25th.

He is interested in joining a team that has a quarterback he has worked with before; possibilities include the New York Jets or the New Orleans Saints.

However, discussions with the Jets may have slowed following the recent dismissal of coach Robert Saleh. Meanwhile, Derek Carr, Adams' former college teammate and current Saints quarterback, might miss several games due to an oblique injury.

The Raiders were reportedly taken by surprise by Adams' desire to be traded. Coach Antonio Pierce mentioned that Adams expressed his trade wishes after the team's Week 4 victory over the Browns.
