Raiders' Offensive Woes Persist Amid Playcalling Concerns and Injury Issues

Las Vegas Raiders News & Updates

Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce noted that changes in the team's offense are necessary as they prepare for their match against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Even though the team ranks 28th in total offense, Pierce pointed out that the issues cannot be blamed entirely on offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.

The team has been affected by injuries and lack of effectiveness, including starting quarterback Gardner Minshew's 11 turnovers. Their offensive line has faced challenges, having had four different starting lineups in eight games.

Minshew highlighted the need for better execution, while Getsy showed his readiness to modify his playcalling approach.

Running back Zamir White has dealt with injuries, and Alexander Mattison has recorded a career-low average of 3.2 yards per carry.
