Las Vegas Raiders News & Updates

Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce asserts that the team is continuing with business as usual, despite the trade of three-time All-Pro receiver Davante Adams to the New York Jets. Pierce highlights the importance of proceeding forward and adapting to the team’s present lineup.

Adams had been absent from the Raiders' last three games due to a hamstring injury and had requested a trade. The team has experienced a two-game losing streak without him.

Jakobi Meyers, now assuming the WR1 position, feels the trade has brought closure to an unusual situation and allows the team to concentrate on their strengths.

Rookie tight end Brock Bowers recognizes the impact of Adams’ absence but remains confident in the abilities of the team’s remaining players.

On the defensive side, the Raiders are mindful of missing the experience of practicing against Adams. Cornerback Jack Jones notes that while Adams' absence reduces their workload, there are still strong receivers to challenge them.

Defensive end Maxx Crosby expresses his admiration for Adams, yet stays concentrated on the current roster, emphasizing the importance of remaining undistracted.
