Raiders' Receiving Corps Weakened Before Steelers Game: Meyers Downgraded, O'Connell to Start at QB

The Las Vegas Raiders' wide receiver Jakobi Meyers might miss Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers because of an ankle injury he got last week.

With Davante Adams, a three-time All-Pro, still recovering from a hamstring injury, the Raiders are already feeling the absence of key players. In five games, Meyers has added to the team with 25 catches, 273 yards, and one touchdown.

The available wide receivers on the roster include Tre Tucker, DJ Turner, and Tyreik McAllister. To strengthen their lineup, the Raiders have moved Alex Bachman and Kristian Wilkerson from the practice squad to the active roster.

Brock Bowers, a rookie tight end, is leading the team in both receptions and receiving yards, while Michael Mayer is not participating due to a non-football-related illness.

Aidan O'Connell, in his second year, will be stepping in as quarterback, taking over the role from Gardner Minshew, who has been benched.
