Baltimore Ravens News & Updates

The Baltimore Ravens will be without their primary returner, Deonte Harty, for four weeks because of a knee injury. Coach John Harbaugh has confirmed that Harty will be sidelined and mentioned that the player has been dealing with this issue throughout the week.

Even though Harty is in his first season with the team, he has yet to make a strong impact in the return game. In terms of statistics, he is ranked 13th in the NFL for punt return yardage and holds the second spot for kickoff return yardage.

With Harty unavailable, Tylan Wallace is anticipated to assume responsibility for punt returns. Wallace brings experience to the role, having scored a game-winning touchdown on a 76-yard punt return against the Rams in the previous season.

Harty was selected for the Pro Bowl as a returner during his rookie season with the New Orleans Saints in 2019. After periods with the Saints and the Buffalo Bills, he signed a one-year contract with the Ravens.
