The Oakland Athletics claimed a 6-3 win against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night, marking their fourth consecutive victory.
Chad Pinder was instrumental, launching a solo homer in the first inning and adding two more runs with a double in the third. Seth Brown played a key part by hitting a two-run single in the sixth inning.
The Mariners tried to rally in the eighth inning with a two-run homer from Luis Torrens, but the Athletics' bullpen held firm, preventing further scoring in the last two innings.
James Kaprielian took the win for the Athletics, conceding just one run over five innings. Dany Jimenez notched his third save of the season.
The victory brings the Athletics' record to 12-10, while the Mariners move to 14-9.
