New York Jets News & Updates

After the New York Jets' 23-20 defeat to the Buffalo Bills, quarterback Aaron Rodgers voiced his frustration. He discussed the team's underwhelming performance, raised concerns about the consistency of officiating, and lamented the squandered opportunities.

Rodgers pointed out the numerous penalties and suggested that some calls were questionable. He specifically criticized a "phantom holding call" that thwarted a touchdown chance.

The Jets managed to produce 393 total yards, yet they struggled in the red zone, managing to score just one touchdown. One of their touchdowns was a result of a Hail Mary pass to Allen Lazard.

Receiver Garrett Wilson shared his disappointment about the penalties and missed opportunities. The team has endured three consecutive losses by a total of 10 points, and in the last two games, Rodgers was intercepted in the final possession.

Rodgers, disheartened by the losing streak, stressed the importance of improving execution. He acknowledged the team's potential and expressed hope for a turnaround.

Interim coach Jeff Ulbrich remains optimistic about the team's character and is confident in their ability to respond. He highlighted the necessity of consistent preparation.
