Pittsburgh Steelers News & Updates

Roman Wilson, a rookie for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is preparing to play his first NFL game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. He was chosen as a third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft but has been out of action due to an ankle injury from the start of training camp.

Wilson enhances the Steelers' options at the wide receiver position, which has been lacking in depth aside from primary receiver George Pickens.

During Michigan's national championship campaign last season, Wilson played a significant role, achieving 48 receptions for 789 yards and scoring 12 touchdowns.

This season, the Steelers' offense has faced challenges, being ranked 27th in the NFL with an average of 178 passing yards per game. The return of Wilson might provide a needed boost to their passing game.
