Chris Olave, the wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints, and tight end Taysom Hill are likely to participate in the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Both players returned to practice after Olave was in the concussion protocol, and Hill missed five games due to injuries, and they have been given the green light to play.
Quarterback Derek Carr remains doubtful for his second week in a row because of an oblique injury. Rookie Spencer Rattler is anticipated to take his place as the starting quarterback.
The Saints are set to have two starting offensive linemen, Cesar Ruiz and Lucas Patrick, back on the field along with linebacker Pete Werner. For the defensive back position, Paulson Adebo will be replaced by Alontae Taylor and Kool-Aid McKinstry following Adebo's fractured femur.
For Sunday's game, wide receiver Cedric Wilson Jr. and offensive lineman Nick Saldiveri are the only members of the team confirmed to be unavailable.
