San Francisco 49ers News & Updates

The San Francisco 49ers might be missing some pivotal offensive players as George Kittle is dealing with a hamstring injury, Christian McCaffrey is facing calf and Achilles tendinitis issues, and Deebo Samuel is also managing a calf injury. On the defensive side, Nick Bosa is questionable with a rib injury, and Charvarius Ward has hamstring and knee concerns.

There is some good news for the defense as Talanoa Hufanga has been cleared to return after recovering from a torn ACL, which should provide a significant boost.

Since Christian McCaffrey joined the team, the 49ers have rarely played without him, Samuel, and Kittle. This presents a unique challenge for quarterback Brock Purdy, who doesn't have much experience playing without these key offensive weapons.

Purdy recognizes that it will be a tough situation but stresses the importance of the team's depth and the presence of other playmakers such as Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, and Jordan Mason.

If Kittle is unable to take the field, Eric Saubert is expected to step in as the starting tight end.
