San Francisco 49ers News & Updates

Jordan Mason, the running back for the San Francisco 49ers and the top rusher in the NFL, sustained an injury to his left shoulder during Thursday's victory over Seattle. Sources suggest that he might have a sprained AC joint; however, the injury is not deemed to be serious. He went through testing on Friday.

In the third quarter, Mason returned for a single carry but had limited participation for the rest of the game. He ended the game with 73 rushing yards on nine carries and caught one pass for nine yards. Throughout the season, he has amassed 609 rushing yards on 114 carries.

The 49ers are presently dealing with the absence of several important players due to injuries. Among them are Christian McCaffrey, Dre Greenlaw, Javon Hargrave, and Talanoa Hufanga.
