Seattle Seahawks News & Updates

The Seattle Seahawks are looking to break their losing streak against the San Francisco 49ers but will have to do so without their leading edge defender, Uchenna Nwosu, who injured his thigh in Sunday's game.

Byron Murphy II, a rookie defensive tackle, has been out for the last two games due to a hamstring injury and is unlikely to participate in Thursday night’s game. The team is uncertain about cornerback Riq Woolen and outside linebackers Boye Mafe and Derick Hall, who are dealing with injuries to the ankle, knee, and foot respectively.

Woolen and Hall left Sunday's game during the final quarter, while Mafe has missed two consecutive games. Coach Mike Macdonald mentioned that Mafe is eager to play but his participation will depend on his readiness and ensuring he is not at risk.

Since the 2022 season started, the Seahawks have lost five games in a row to the 49ers, including a playoff match, with a combined score of 148-72 in favor of San Francisco.
