The Houston Astros clinched their second championship title in six years by defeating the Philadelphia Phillies in six games during the 2022 World Series.
The series began with an exciting Game 1 where the Astros took the lead early, but the Phillies rallied in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game. Ultimately, Yordan Alvarez's walk-off home run in the 10th inning secured the win for Houston.
