Jacksonville Jaguars News & Updates

Tank Bigsby, playing as running back, was instrumental in leading the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 32-16 victory against the New England Patriots during their matchup in London.

With Travis Etienne Jr. sidelined due to injury, Bigsby stepped up by rushing for 118 yards and scoring two touchdowns over the course of 26 carries. Despite his notable performance, Coach Doug Pederson is steadfast in retaining Etienne as the starting player when he is fit to play again.

Bigsby did not begin the game as the starter but found his rhythm in the second quarter. During this phase, he made six carries and accumulated 35 yards as well as a touchdown. In the latter half of the game, Bigsby showcased his strength, carrying the ball 11 times across 16 consecutive rushing plays for a total of 52 yards.

For this season, Bigsby has amassed a total of 415 rushing yards, maintaining an average of 6.2 yards per carry. Coach Pederson commended Bigsby's performance, noting that his achievements are due to both his physical attributes and the strong support from the offensive line.

Bigsby has played a crucial role in both victories for the Jaguars this season by exceeding 100 rushing yards on each occasion. Nevertheless, he emphasizes that his primary ambition is to contribute positively to the team, irrespective of his own personal stats.
