Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks will be absent from the game against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. His absence is due to a knee injury he sustained during practice on Thursday.
Coach Brian Callahan mentioned that the team is assessing the severity of Burks' injury and may have to place him on injured reserve, which suggests he might be out for an extended period.
Although the Titans have six receivers on their roster, they will field only five because they have called up practice squad players for other roles, like defensive tackle and running back.
Burks has played a significant role in the Titans' offense, being on the field for 48% of offensive snaps and participating in kick returns over five games. The Titans selected Burks in the first round of the 2022 draft. Since then, he has accumulated 53 receptions for 699 yards and a touchdown, including making 34 yards this season.
