Jonathan Taylor made his comeback for the Colts and managed 105 yards on the ground with a touchdown. Despite the defeat, Richardson displayed determination after returning from a hip injury, continuing to play even after being briefly winded in the third quarter.
The Texans experienced injuries to Stefon Diggs, who is dealing with a knee problem, and Calen Bullock, who has a shoulder issue. Meanwhile, the Colts' Trevor Denbow suffered a knee injury, and Jarrett Patterson was diagnosed with a concussion.
During the halftime break, the Texans celebrated Andre Johnson as he received his Hall of Fame ring of excellence, marking his distinction as the first Houston Texan to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
