Tennessee Titans News & Updates

The Tennessee Titans will be without their starting cornerback, Chidobe Awuzie, following a groin injury he picked up during their loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Head Coach Brian Callahan announced that Awuzie will be out for a significant period, which might result in him being placed on injured reserve.

Awuzie, who joined the team in March, got injured while covering Romeo Doubs in the first quarter. He was replaced by rookie Jarvis Brownlee Jr., and Callahan mentioned Brownlee would start alongside L'Jarius Sneed during Awuzie's recovery.

Darrell Baker Jr. also received some playing time, and the Titans might consider promoting Tre Avery from the practice squad if Awuzie ends up on the injured reserve list.
