Tampa Bay Buccaneers News & Updates

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced that their top left tackle, Tristan Wirfs, injured his MCL in the game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The injury took place in the second quarter, and while he will be out for a while, it's the best-case outcome for the team, as he might be absent for just several weeks.

Taking Wirfs' place in the lineup was Justin Skule, who previously played as an offensive tackle for the 49ers. The Buccaneers also saw rookie outside linebacker Chris Braswell leave the field due to an oblique injury.

The team is already dealing with the absence of Chris Godwin, who is missing the rest of the season because of a dislocated ankle. Mike Evans has missed three games due to a hamstring injury but could possibly return after the Tampa Bay team's Week 11 bye week.

Suffering their fourth consecutive defeat, the Buccaneers now have a record of 4-6 following their loss to the 49ers.
