Tyrique Stevenson Redeems Himself After Hail Mary Error in Bears' Defeat to Cardinals

Following his involvement in the Bears' defeat in Washington, cornerback Tyrique Stevenson did not play against the Cardinals, which was linked to Terell Smith's ankle injury.

Coach Matt Eberflus chose not to comment on Stevenson's previous week's actions, but Stevenson was informed during Wednesday's practice that he would not be starting. Although he briefly exited practice, he participated in all team activities.

Stevenson expressed appreciation for the encouragement from his teammates, noting that they recognize his passion and eagerness to contribute.

During the final play in Washington, Stevenson was tasked with marking Noah Brown but inadvertently tipped the ball, leading to a touchdown for Brown.

Stevenson understood the decision to bench him, admitting it was hurtful but comprehending the team's reasoning.

In the game against Arizona, Stevenson achieved seven tackles and defended two passes. Eberflus highlighted that the team backs Stevenson and that he performed well both in practice and during the game.
