Von Miller, a defensive end for the Buffalo Bills, has resumed practicing with the team after serving a suspension for four games. This suspension was due to a breach of the NFL's personal conduct policy. Miller is thankful for this new opportunity and is focused on his football career.
In November 2023, allegations against Miller involving his pregnant girlfriend led to him surrendering to the police on an assault warrant. Though he denied the accusations, the NFL launched an investigation. Eventually, no formal charges were made.
When asked about possibly contesting the suspension, Miller chose not to comment and preferred concentrating on the rest of the season. The Bills have given him a temporary roster exemption for the week, allowing him to practice with the squad.
Head Coach Sean McDermott has noted that Miller's engagement at the team facility during his suspension positively impacted his mental and physical well-being. McDermott stressed Miller's importance but highlighted the collective strength of the defensive unit.
Since joining the Bills in 2022, Miller has participated in 27 regular-season games and two postseason contests. After suffering an ACL injury in 2022, he adjusted his contract, helping the team by creating additional cap space.
The Bills have maintained a strong record of 3-1 during his suspension and hold a confident position in the AFC East standings. Miller has achieved three sacks in the first four games of his current season.
