Minnesota Vikings News & Updates

Andrew Van Ginkel intercepted Aaron Rodgers' initial pass for a 63-yard touchdown, which helped Minnesota secure a 23-17 win over the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and remain undefeated.

Among Rodgers' three interceptions, two occurred in the first quarter, marking a career first for him. Stephon Gilmore's late-game interception solidified the Vikings' 5-0 starting record, their best since 2016.

The Jets fell behind early, but managed to respond with a touchdown pass from Rodgers to Garrett Wilson. However, rookie kicker Will Reichard's 41-yard field goal turned out to be the game-winner.

Rodgers achieved a significant milestone by becoming the ninth NFL player to exceed 60,000 regular-season passing yards. He also advanced past Dan Marino in combined regular-season and playoff passing yards.

The Jets faced injuries to key players such as Sauce Gardner, Michael Carter II, and C.J. Mosley. Meanwhile, the Vikings lost Aaron Jones to a hip injury, and Sam Darnold sustained a hit to his midsection.

The Jets are set to play the Buffalo Bills at home next Monday night, while the Vikings will have a break before meeting the Detroit Lions on October 20.
